pipekits Open the planner

Plan black iron pipe shelves, then get the cut list.

pipekits is a free planner for furniture made from ½" black iron pipe and wood: wall shelves, brackets, clothing racks, lamps. Build it piece by piece in 3D, see it against your wall at real size, and get a list of every fitting, pipe length and board to buy.

How it works

  1. Add parts. Start with a floor flange and thread on pipe lengths and fittings (tees, elbows, crosses, unions) one at a time, the way you'd build it for real.
  2. Arrange it. Put it against a wall or into a corner, add shelf boards, and set props like a TV, books or a person beside it for scale. The Ruler measures between any two things.
  3. Get the list. The parts and cut list keeps up as you go. Print it with a picture of the design, or share a link to it.

Your designs

Everything stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there's no account, and there's no tracking. Because of that, your designs live in the one browser you made them in. To keep them safe or move them, use Download all designs in My Designs, and open the file anywhere. Safari clears a site's saved data after 7 days without a visit, so on a Mac, iPhone or iPad it's worth downloading now and then.
